Cancer treatment is changing—and Aflac is proud to be changing with it. From prevention to recovery, Aflac is with you every step of the way.

A cancer/specified-disease insurance policy is designed to provide you with cash benefits during covered cancer treatments. A cancer/specified-disease insurance policy can help protect your income and savings from expenses that aren't covered by your major medical insurance, including:

  • Out-of-pocket medical expenses
  • Out-of-network specialists
  • Experimental cancer treatment
  • Travel and lodging when treatment is far from home
  • Child care and household help
  • Normal living expenses, such as your car payment and utility bills

This is for illustrative purposes only. Benefits may not be available in all states.

Our newest policy provides benefits for the new advances in treatment protocol and our robust benefits provide for the whole person. From prevention to recovery, Aflac is with you every step of the way.

We pay a benefit for early detection and preventative care, like mammograms, PSA blood tests, and many other kinds of cancer screenings, too.

Plus, benefits are payable for an additional opinion, prophylactic surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, experimental treatments, cancer surgery, reconstructive surgery, hospital confinement, transportation, lodging, and more.

Option 2 pays a lump-sum benefit of $4,000 upon initial cancer diagnosis, which doubles for dependent children. A benefit of $75 per calendar year is payable for cancer screenings to encourage early detection and prevention. The benefit increases to three screenings per calendar year after the diagnosis for internal cancer or an associated cancerous condition.
