What is lump sum cancer insurance? A lump sum cancer insurance policy provides you with a pre-established amount if you or another covered person is diagnosed with cancer. You can use the money to help with the expenses that may not be covered by the major medical insurance you have at the time - from medical costs to everyday bills.

Aflac's cash benefits can be used to help with the costs associated with cancer to include the following:

  • Transportation to and from medical facilities, including parking
  • Out-of-network specialists
  • Experimental treatments
  • Daily living expenses

This is for illustrative purposes only. Benefits may not be available in all states.
